Such a bittersweet feeling that's creeping up and starting to hit me more each day. Talking with my friends about going back to our homes for good is an odd feeling. I think we all kind of feel the same, we're ready to go back home, but will really miss aspects of being in Geneva and spending time together.
I'm trying to get out as much as possible and see things around the city, even though I just started Sons of Anarchy on Netflix and it's so good! I went for a walk around sunset time and ended up at my favorite place, Bains des Paquis. They have these big barrels sitting around with fires started in them. It reminds me of the good old Swan Lake campground. My hair smells like campfire after, but it really doesn't bother me.
I sat here for a while and watched a lady swim laps in the lake! BRRRR... Even though it was 55-60 degrees today, I know that water is not warm. I then proceeded to take about a million photos of the sunset.
I got back to my little apartment and had an email that said my previous blog post/article was published on thoughtcatalog.com !!! So then I freaked out a little!!! TC is definitely not one of the most prestigious websites out there, but it's still a pretty cool feeling! I've realized how much blogging helps me. I like to write down my feelings and share inspiration.
...and then the first comment I got on the article was from someone saying that I shouldn't go to college or travel the world because I've already learned all my life lessons from something as trivial as cutting off my hair. I feel bad for that poor negative soul. But it also made me realize how tough it would be to be an internet blogger. Those people have to put up with haters every.single.day. I mean, valid comments pointing out a weakness of the article or a well-thought out complaint is usually welcomed, but don't leave comments just to be rude.

Have a greeeaattt Friday everyone! I have one test tomorrow and then I plan to head to Zurich on Saturday to see the city!
