Everyone remembers the super cheesy show called MTV Cribs, right?!?! Well, let's have a little throwback Thursday moment and use our imaginations to go back to the good old days of MTV, while I show you around my crib. I'm not famous, and I don't have a 10 car garage to show off, but I do have a one room apartment. (I hope at least one other person finds this as funny as I do)
Hey guys, welcome to my crib...let's take a look inside!
First up, the closet. This is where I dress myself every morning. Super luxurious. It doesn't look like I have a lot of clothes to work with, but I actually overpacked. Most of the time i have a coat or jacket and scarf on and end up just wearing tank tops and v-neck tshirts under. I wish I would have packed less and bought a few things here. Maybe I'll make a donation to the Salvation Army before heading home. SO I CAN PACK A WHOLE SUITCASE OF CHOCOLATE, YES!
Ahh, yes, the bathroom. Before coming to Europe I thought showerhead holders were world-wide. Not the case. But, you figure it out. It takes a certain amount of skill to be able to hold the shower head between your knees while scrubbing your shampoo without spraying water all over your dry towel and onto the bathroom floor. It gets me clean though, so can't complain about that.
Welcome to the bedroom side of the room. It's actually very comfy and serves all of my napping needs quite well. Once every 15 days the precious cleaning lady changes out the sheets and towels. Which is actually way more often than I would change my own sheets. This place rocks!
Let's see what's cookin' in the kitchen! I specialize in making eggs, in every form, over easy, scrambled, the occasional omelette. Banana pancakes are also a popular menu item (one mashed banana + one egg, mix together really well and cook on both sides) Maybe I'll attempt cheese fondue this winter and invite my neighbors over!
Any loyal MTV Cribs watcher would know that the show isn't complete without showing off what's in your fridge....so, here we go.
Pretty exciting things going on in here...we have eggs, guacamole, a bag of lettuce, chicken, cheese (it's like a sin to not have cheese on hand while in Switzerland) and a bag of brussel sprouts. The options here are endless... :)
Now, for my favorite part of the WHOLE place! ....the view. Take a look at this.
I really hope you've enjoyed visiting my crib, but you gotta get out of here....see ya next time!
