I have missed home so much. Being home at Christmas time is just so relaxing. Even though I don't have a huge family here and not everyone can be together every Christmas, I've decided that in the future I will do everything I can to be there around Christmas time.

Plenty of puppy snuggles and naps to go around!

Getting home took a flight from Geneva to Amsterdam, spending about 14 hours and an overnight in the Amsterdam airport, a 10 hour flight to Houston, Texas, and the final flight of 2 hours from Houston to Omaha. Followed by a 2 hour drive home. Even though there were a few delays and I was definitely not happy about spending so much time traveling, I've learned that life takes effort. Some of the greatest successes you experience take extra effort, some patience, and faith that it will be worth it.
